Woman allegedly hid pound of cocaine in baby diaper bag

Parents with young children always dread a loaded diaper. But what if it was the parent who actually loaded the diaper to begin with? Weird scenario, but that’s what police say a woman in New York State did when she found something she didn’t expect to find in a diaper bag. No, this white substance is not baby powder.

New York State Police said they arrested a woman on Tuesday for a traffic violation near Coxsackie. NBC says police determined the Bronx woman did not have a valid driver’s license. But there was something more. According to NBC, police eventually found more than a pound of cocaine in a diaper bag in the vehicle as they searched. Police said the woman was traveling with her 13-year-old and a 7-month-old at the time. Now the woman faces several charges.

People have gotten very creative where they hide their coke over the past few weeks. This particular story here was from last week. SCS says a man from New York and a woman from Maine were arrested after a “significant amount” of cocaine disguised as a cake was found in their vehicle. CBS says drug officers seized more than four pounds of cocaine from their vehicle. Officials say more than two pounds of coke were disguised as a gourmet cake. Good thing it didn’t end up at a children’s party because it would’ve been a crazy reunion.

And then you had this unlucky guy, allegedly hiding cocaine in a box of Lucky Charms. In October 2020, a stop on the NY State Thruway turned into an unexpected find, as police said they discovered five pounds of cocaine stored in two separate boxes of Lucky Charms cereal in the suspect’s vehicle. Guess they are really delicious as if by magic?
