While the inauspicious climb of the Delta variant spoiled one in four U.S. travel plans for August, many are still set to go on the trip before summer is over.
The latest travel research data from Google shows that while hotel occupancy rates in the United States have recently declined, some destinations continue to earn a massive number of search queries from potential visitors.

Here are some of the top travel destinations this month, according to a Broady report on the latest Google search data.
In fashion now
Las Vegas
The so-called “Entertainment Capital of the World” has gone out of its way to safely bring back the shows, attractions and live concerts that draw people from across the country and around the world to Las Vegas.
With Resorts World Las Vegas opening in June as the first resort built on the famous Strip in over a decade, there are plenty of new experiences on offer, ranging from a massive pool complex to over 40 new hotel deals. catering, retail, nightlife venues, spa and casino.
