welcome to Blind luck, your new favorite dose of drama and proxy life. Your scheming hosts, Nick and Em, turned their attention to all the potential loves and connections on the Tufts campus. Each week we will be hosting two blind date from sources of our own notes, our little birds and YOU. If you have a match in mind or just a friend that’s down, send it to [email protected]

Alright, let’s start with our daring, courageous and gorgeous blindfolded first date. Thanks people to entertain that. I love you a lot.

Person 1:

“I got home and was handed the bag with a picnic blanket, the wine and the two glasses… We said ‘Hello’, made quick little introductions, then started walking immediately. to Dave’s after opening the envelope. ”

The envelope had a suggested route provided by us. Person 1 described their conversation with Person 2 as they walked over to Dave’s Fresh Pasta.

“We talked about the basics, nothing too formal. We got some food, kept walking, and then we went to the basketball court near the roundabout. We put up the blanket, had a few drinks, ate our sandwiches, and continued talking for a while. ”

We asked what they thought of the date and the other person.

“In fact, I liked [them], [they’re] costs. It was good to hear how [they’re] from Medford, so I learned… what it looked like, ”said Person 1.”[They] are a good conversationalist so it was never awkward or quiet. I would hang out with [them] again.”

“Did you think you had chemistry?” ” we asked.

“I think we didn’t have any attractive chemistry,” they replied. “But certainly the compatibility of the personality.”

Person 2:

“So my first impression … I was like, [they’re] very attractive, all of you. As [they’re] so cute. I was like, okay. Even a little too cute. You know? “They continued.” Like how a TikTok boy needs a TikTok girl. “

We nodded enthusiastically as Person 2 finished their first impressions.

“[They] rocked the Birks and the socks, which, you know, is a little key to my heart. And then… it was kind of like your usual first date joke.

Then they delved into the juicy date details, revealing their experiences at Dave’s Fresh Pasta.

“[They] were really polite to everyone [at the restaurant], which is always very exciting… I’m like, okay, cool, basic check, you know, a good person.

After ordering food and petting a dog, the date continued at the park.

“[Their] the main interests were skiing and growing peppers which is really cool, ”Person 2 said.“ But [they] reminded me like, TWO brother, like a ski brother. Kind of like the crispy version of basic. And I was like, okay, like… I know who you are. I have already met you.

Person 2 continued their impressions.

“Once we got a little drunk, [they] were a little more awkward, then we started having fun … [They] do this cute thing with wine where [they] whirled it around.

We asked if there was a moment that made the date even more fun.

“[They] kept throwing the tennis balls because we were sitting right next to the tennis courts so the tennis balls were flying. And [they] I kept pushing them back over the fence, which I found really fun.

Person 2 then summarized their final thoughts on Person 1 for us.

“Then we awkwardly hugged at the end, neither of us really asked for the other’s number. I really couldn’t figure out how. [they] felt throughout the date. I didn’t really know how much I loved them either, because I was like, ‘You are a beautiful human being, and you are so beautiful to look at, cute and funny … honestly, I would go on a second date. you.’ But I was like, ‘You’re a little out of my league.’ “

We strongly disagreed before Person 2 continued.

“But it was fun. I feel like towards the end it got a little more flirty, but I could never tell if [they] were attracted to me or not.
