Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar says she is not an accidental actress and that her trip was a survival.

“It’s been five years and it still looks like a dream! I’m not an actor by accident and I say it over and over again. It’s something I really wanted to do and I worked really hard to be here. I was born and raised in Bombay, which really helped because just having some kind of support system in the city, which is the city of our Hindi film industry, makes your trip a bit easy, ”he said. said Bhumi.

“However, because I’m not from a traditional film family or really didn’t have any contacts, I was very confused at first on how to do this,” she added.

The actress said she had to convince her parents that she wanted to be an actress. “I gathered the courage to tell my parents about it. They weren’t very happy and I think they were protective. So, I decided to go to film school and the fees were expensive, so I took out a loan, ”she recalls.

However, she failed film school and it really shook her. “I failed film school not because I wasn’t a good actor, but because I wasn’t disciplined. It was the biggest ‘jhatka’ (jerk). I felt like I messed up and I had this Rs 13 lakh loan on my head. I started looking for a job to survive and to protect my dream of acting. Again, my parents were completely against it because they wanted me to go back to school, but I told them I would graduate from an open school, ”Bhumi said.

She then started working as a casting assistant.

“When I was doing the casting, my intention was not to get information on whether I wanted to be an actor. I was just watching as a film student. I was like I wanted to be a part of this world no matter what door opened. In fact, that’s how my life has been – a survival trip. I only tried to survive through the years until (his 2015 debut film) “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”. I was fortunate to be able to continue to take advantage of these opportunities – things were happening and mostly from YRF (Yash Raj Films), ”she recalls.

Bhumi will next be seen in the heroine-centric horror drama, “Durgavati”.
