The ASC Training Center is a non-profit organization located on Donner Summit. The ASCCT offers a variety of programs for Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic and Biathlon; clinics; competitions and social events. The ASCCT also operates a 25 km Nordic center open to the public.
Position: Head Coach of the Nordic Competition Team

Period of employment: 11 months (full time, year round)
Compensation: $ 20 to $ 25 / h paid bi-weekly

Function:
Coach competition and development teams in all aspects of Nordic training and competition.
Assist the program director with awareness programs to increase the number of members such as the CNISSF (university programs and ACMS)
Coach Master Clinic Program
Support for the operation of the training center
Responsibilities:
- Effectively organize, communicate and coach athlete and parent programming for competition and development teams
- Assist the program director in the communication, organization, recruitment and conduct of training sessions.
- Train outreach programs to increase membership such as CNISSF Varsity, Masters Program, and Alder Creek Middle School Program, if time permits.
- As a key training center staff member, perform other duties including, but not limited to daily operations, Xc lessons and rentals, public relations, fundraising, l administration, recruiting efforts, training center event support, winter and summer maintenance, facility improvements, general operations and special projects.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of
Proven customer service skills working with athletes and families of all ages.
Ability to work in a team and be productive without supervision
Ability to work safely in all snow and terrain surface conditions in severe winter conditions for extended periods of time. Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
Proven organizational, communication and writing skills
Computer skills – word processing, spreadsheets, email and the Internet
